Will this be the last day of this post? Who knows! Roads were definitely improving yesterday evening, but I haven’t been out yet this morning so I can’t speak to it.

SunTrust says their downtown and Publix branches are supposed to open at noon. I really hope so!
Has anybody been out on the roads today? I’m thinking of driving into work (from near Toco Hills to Midtown) if the roads are good enough. I’m not very comfortable on ice, so I’m wary of trying to get out. Any news regarding the general state of surface streets?
You could try calling 511 for the conditions of specific roads and highways.

Sams St is still a bit hairy. I saw cars managing it this morning, but would be more worried about Lizard’s sloped parking lot.

Decatur First Bank’s main office will open at noon.
For the second day running, the Decatur/Dekalb Y teased with “we’ll open at noon” on their website only to decide “neener, neener, neener” at about 11 am.
East Lake cut straight to “Forget it” both days.
Golazo-I feel like the Decatur Y is trying to drive me crazy. Every morning I put my gym clothes on and head to Dancing Goats only to check back at 11 to find that they won’t be opening after all. I’m about to lose my mind!

Just left YDFM at 5:30pm Wed. and they have tons of everything. Only out of pork tenderloin. But the drive there on E Ponce was terrible. Wouldn’t recommend.
