Video: Fake CDC Protests and the Real Laurence Fishburne!

    Decatur Metro | January 6, 2011

Check it.  Emory is posting videos on YouTube of filming of the Matt Damon/Jude Law/Kate Winslet movie “Contagion” out in front of the CDC today.  Of the six videos posted thus far, this one of the fake protest in action is probably the best.

“No More Lies!”  Preach on, fake protesters.  Preach on.

After the jump, some footage of Laurence Fishburne on the scene, also courtesy of Emory…

Its almost too bad that the word got out about the filming. Someone could have gotten a lot of mileage with a practical joke/ rumor here.

LOL. Perhaps the mistake is in your typing as *grammar* could *have* been solved by spell check . Spell check would *have* caught that! (I was assuming you were bring intentionally funny; benefit of the doubt and all that…)

it’s funny because ajc posted this morning on their traffic page that Emory/CDC area was going to be extremely congested due to extremely heavy construction. sounds like they were either fibbed to or fibbing themselves trying to keep people out of the area.

How is this movie really supposed to be any different than Outbreak or The Andromeda Strain?

Rats! I was at CDC Koger today and missed it.
Did they meet up with any zombies in the Labs while they were out there?

Oh no. I hope Larry Fishburne doesn’t drive past the dirty video store on Cheshire Bridge. For the longest time, the sign out front was touting the sale of his daughter’s sex tape.

I might be wrong, but the guy in the black baseball cap with horn-rimmed glasses who Fishburne walks over to appears to be the director, Steven Soderbergh. Tremendously talented guy.
