Jonathan Franzen Tickets Almost Gone
Decatur Metro | August 26, 2010Kimberly at Blue Elephant just wrote in with this…
A heads-up for locals still needing tickets to the Decatur Book Festival’s free keynote speech by Jonathan Franzen: seating is limited and this is a popular event, so tickets are going FAST. Blue Elephant Book Shop, Agnes Scott College, and Little Shop of Stories are all completely out of tickets. Charis Books will be out within the hour. Bound to Be Read Books reports some tickets still available, but that number will dwindle quickly.
See y’all at the Festival!

Despite the “sold out” headline, the tickets are free, but they are first-come-first-served, with a limit of 2 per person.
Ah good point. Will change to “Gone”.
Bound to Be Read told me there were two dozen there last night at about 6pm. Run, do not walk.
But do so safely. I will not be held responsible for any running injuries.
Is there anywhere besides Charis and Bound to be Read that has tickets left?
Does anyone have 2 extra tickets for two suburbanites in need of culture?
