Say farewell to Decatur Active Living’s 231 Sycamore blog and hello to BeActiveDecatur.com!
BeActive looks to have much of the same sort of content as 231, but with a brand-new cleaned up look! With the move, Active Living has switched from a Blogger to WordPress format. A smart move in my opinion, since WordPress offers you a lot more flexibility in design and layout.
So go and check ‘er out! The city’s Interim Asst. Director Cheryl Burnette has promised to do 5 squat-thrusts for every click-thru! (Ok, she never promised any such thing)

Thanks DM- how about if I do sun salutes instead of squat thrusts!?
That works for me! I took a class in college where we had to do 20 sun salutes every morning at 8:30a prior to class, gradually increasing speed throughout.
Bottomline: those things can kick your butt.
She’s the “interim Interim” Asst. Directoir? Is that sort of like being on double-secret probation?

Great idea, and it’s already got so much content! Youth sport rain-outs, rescheduled games, and picture days could be listed among the blog posts?
Also, is having a image of someone using in-line skates in the city across the banner a subversive dig at the anti-skateboarding/scooter/roller skate/in-line skate ordinance?
