CSD Responds To Swine Flu Threat

    Decatur Metro | April 28, 2009

Maria Lewis sent out this note from School Health Coordinator Sally Dobbins…

Although CDC has issued a public health emergency related to swine flu, Georgia has no confirmed cases. Symptoms of swine flu are similar to seasonal flu: sore throat, body aches, fever, headache, cough and fatigue. McKoy Gets 11 Alive Playground Safety Check

    Decatur Metro | April 28, 2009

11alive followed Atlanta attorney and children’s advocate Don Keenan to Decatur’s McKoy Park where he found a bunch of “safety hazards” including “chipped paint, small fall zones around swings, inadequate padding, debris and S-hooks on swings with gaps that can catch children’s clothing.”

Listen to the New Bob Dylan Album in Full on Paste

    Decatur Metro | April 28, 2009

Looking to sample the new Dylan album, Together Through Life, before purchasing?

Well then you’ll be happy to hear that Paste Magazine has posted the album in its entirety on its website! Listen here.  And for Paste’s full review, click here.

The mag has given their entire site over to Dylan for the day – kinda – with all sorts of Dylan polls, rankings and videos available for your clicking pleasure.  Personally, I recommend checking out the “Top 50 Dylan Covers” list.  Its pretty intense…and quite debatable.
