Decatur Metro | December 5, 2008…but will remain in Decatur. (see Linda’s comment bel0w)
FM Fats is good enough to forward this note…
The Seen Gallery closes its Oakhurst location
The Holiday Show will be the last art show to be held at the current location in Oakhurst Village, Decatur, GA (in the historic Scottish Rite building) and will run through December 24. The Seen Gallery will close this location on Christmas Eve at 5 pm, and will be reopening in late January or early February at another location. More details of the location and dates for reopening will be disclosed soon.
Note: Much of our Jewelry will be on sale for 50% off beginning Saturday, December 6.
The Seen Gallery is closing temporarily only to get their new space ready and to move their inventory. They will be open and still be in Decatur right after the first of the year. They have not released the details yet.
DM: Please let us know their new location when announced. Can’t afford anything much in there, but like to look, as they have some great artists…and who ever tires of Pete the Cat? Good luck Bill!
Wonder what will go into the Seen’s space? That’s a big space to fill.
The Seen will be relocating to join the Church Street merchants in the adjacent spaces currently occupied by Two Stix (who will become an online-only merchant after January) and Estelle Networks (the former T-Mobile dealer). The new gallery will offer more usable wall space than the present location.
