In another symbol of the changing of the times, today was Saba’s last day for brunch in Decatur. They will also now stop serving lunch at 2 PM during the week.

Depeaux is now closed on Monday and Tuesday with lunch only on Friday. Feast has cut back lunch to Fridays. Le Petit Marchet in Kirkwood has dropped Mondays.
Depeaux’s website doesn’t show them as being open for lunch at all anymore. I’d heard they started opening for Sunday breakfast on the 9th; but I’ve never confirmed the hours for that, and the website doesn’t reflect them either.
There are big signs out front of Depeaux now that say lunch on Fri, Sat, and Sun. We used to head over there from Agnes Scott for lunch during the week. Guess those days are over.
Thanks, CSD Mom. I thought that was the case, but I hadn’t made it over to take a look at the signage.
Downtown Decatur Businesses are losing ground all around. I’m the owner of Rose Squared Gallery and Framing and have seen a huge downturn for everyone around me. A good thing for Decatur/Dekalb residents to keep in mind is that your support of our businesses during these tough economic times means that we will still be here to support you in the future.
