11 Days of Rare, One-Off Kegs at the Brick Store
Decatur Metro | June 19, 2008In celebration of its 11 year anniversary, the Brick Store Pub is in the midst of “11 Days of One-Off Kegs”. And man are there some interesting sounding brews on this list.
Rusty Diamond over at Decatur Beer & Beyond blog has the daily run down, which spans June 14th-24th.
Hurry Up! You’ve already missed the Great Divide Espresso Oak-Aged Yeti Imported Stout and the Terrapin Southern Fried Brown Ale! Don’t miss today’s Oskar Blues Chubbourbon! (yes, that’s Old Chub aged in bourbon barrels…can I invoke the drooling noise more than once in one day?)
The 5th Earl Market has some good beer events going on as well…here are details of their Allagash beer dinner with amazing sounding food.

Friday, June 27th they have a beer/cheese pairing.

I’ll second the 5th Earl’s beer dinners. I went to the Dogfish Head dinner and it was great. We had some very hard to find beers from Dogfish that I wouldn’t have been able to try otherwise and the food was excellent.
Slight change to Tuesday’s finale @ BSP:
Firkin of Heavy Seas (Clipper City Brewing) Hang Ten Weizenbock. Also pouring is the last keg of the Allagash Rosa, which was really good last week! Here are my thoughts on it http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/4/43301/?ba=RustyDiamond
Cheers!
