If you live in the City of Decatur and your water looks a little discolored, it may be because the Fire Department is testing all of the hydrants in the city. This is a required mandate that Decatur undertakes annually.

Don’t forget to run an empty load in your washing machine after you see red (water).  We learned that the hard way a few years back.
