Hosted by Daphné Bürki and Raphäl Yem, the cultural program on France TV welcomed the winning band from the Inrocks Super Club on Monday, April 28. The group from Marseille performed “Demain,” a track from their debut album.
A “young band of independent rockers” who “hail from Marseille” and are “super cool.” That’s how Daphné Bürki, the host of the show Culturebox, described La Flemme. The Marseille-based band was featured in the program “where arts converge and artists share their stories,” this past Monday, April 28.

Two months following their appearance at the Inrocks Festival, the quartet, winners of the Inrocks Super Club, performed Demain—a song from La Fête, their freshly released debut album through EXAG’ Records.
“We met in a folk band“
After their performance, the four musicians of La Flemme received applause from the audience, then participated in a televised interview. When Raphäl Yem, co-host of Culturebox, questioned Stella Lopez (vocals, bass) and Jules Massa (vocals, guitar) about the vibrancy of the rock scene in Marseille, the pair agreed. “We are all part of various bands, and the entire Marseille scene is intertwined. The two of us met in a folk band, while Charles and Ronie are in another band called Technopolice. There’s a blend that makes the Marseille scene very cohesive,” explained Stella.
“The audience is large, there’s a lot of rock in Marseille, many bands, lots of connections, and the scene is very united,” Jules added, laughing, “We stick our thumbs… elbows, I mean!“
A slew of guests
The program, enriched with guests and discussions, also featured interviews with singer Zaz, actress Julia Piaton, radio and TV host Antoine de Caunes, cartoonist Xavier Coste, comedian Nathalie Boitel, the Ballet of the Opéra national du Rhin, and singer Keziah Jones. The replay of the show is available at this address until December 29, 2025.
