Damso, Garbage, Theodora… sont dans la playlist de la semaine !

Featuring Wet Leg and Miley Cyrus.

Summer is just around the corner, and you can feel the vibe! This week’s playlist is packed with beach-ready hits, perfect for enjoying with your sunglasses on. Kicking things off is Theodora’s MEGA BBL, released today. The versatile artist has made 2025 her year: after winning the Flammes award, she’s the name on everyone’s lips and her tracks are the highlight of every party. Less than a year after her hit Kongolese sous BBL and the mixtape Bad Boy Lovestory, Theodora gives us a bonus from the album, featuring a diverse range of collaborations from Jul to Juliette Armanet and Bb trickz. Among the fresh tracks, the highly anticipated Mon bébé with Brazy stands out—a tour exclusive eagerly awaited by fans and a pick for this week’s playlist.

Across the Atlantic, we find Wet Leg with their new song, CPR. Vibrant and fresh, this track sets the stage for a wild summer. Just like in the music video, we play down our romantic flings and embark on a nature road-trip with friends to escape our feelings. Three years after their debut album’s success, the first two colorful singles from their upcoming record set the mood.

On a more introspective note, we encounter the moving More to Lose from Miley Cyrus’s ninth studio album. The singer, who first gained fame on Disney in the 2000s, has explored a variety of genres, from pop and R&B to rock influences. She describes this new album as her “most experimental” yet. Drawing inspiration from Pink Floyd’s iconic The Wall and working with producer Shawn Everett (Kacey Musgraves, The Killers, Julian Casablancas), she delves into themes of beauty, death, and destruction.

Damso is back with BĒYĀH, an album you’ll want to dive into immediately, as it is reported to be his last. He started his rap career in 2006, released a mixtape, and was discovered by Booba. He signed with Booba’s label 92i in 2015. Ten years and six albums later, the face of Belgian rap is bowing out.

While some leave the stage, Garbage continues to thrive. After a hiatus between 2005 and 2012, the band reformed stronger than ever and has released five albums, with Let All That We Imagine Be the Light being the latest. With Shirley Manson’s mesmerizing vocals and heavily distorted guitar chords set to cynical, even nihilistic lyrics, the quartet knows how to make its mark. And the formula continues to succeed, more than thirty years after the band’s inception.
