We Love Green : Charli XCX, Theodora, Air, LCD Soundsystem… 9 concerts à ne pas manquer

Here’s our pick of the must-see shows at the 2025 edition of the festival in the Paris region, happening from June 6 to June 8.

Charli XCX – La Prairie, Saturday, June 7

The rebellious youth will flock to the main stage to groove to Charli XCX’s beats. A pop sensation that has been a summer staple, Brat catapulted the London artist to global fame after a decade in the music industry. It only took four letters against a bright green backdrop for her to become the talk of the town. Don’t miss out on an unforgettable hyperpop rave experience with Charli XCX.

Theodora – La Canopée, Saturday, June 7

One of the first names announced for the 2025 line-up, Theodora is set to make her festival debut. Her popularity soared after last year’s release of Kongolese sous BBL, and it hasn’t slowed down since. Recently crowned Female Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Flammes Awards, and with her mixtape Mega BBL about to drop, you can bet her catchy tunes will resonate throughout the Bois de Vincennes, much to everyone’s delight.

Kavinsky – Lalaland, Friday, June 6

Last summer, Kavinsky made a notable comeback at the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics, where he performed his iconic track Nightcall, alongside Angèle and Phoenix, a performance that was universally acclaimed and boosted the track’s popularity, already famous from the Drive (2011) soundtrack. Vincent Belorgey, known professionally as Kavinsky, had been keeping a low profile, with few record releases since Reborn in 2022. Fueled by the Olympic momentum, the prominent French Touch producer is set to take the stage at We Love Green, eagerly awaited by fans.

Parcels – La Prairie, Friday, June 6

As summer quickly approaches, the inclusion of Parcels in the lineup is further proof. With a third album on the way and a new single just released, the funky Australians are set to bring a refreshing vibe to Vincennes. Endorsed by Daft Punk in 2017, the band, with a bit of soul and a lot of disco, promises an uplifting and freeing performance, a perfect escape from the daily grind.

Air – La Clairière, Saturday, June 7

Air also holds a prestigious spot in the French Touch movement and is returning to the stage after a massive world tour celebrating 25 years of Moon Safari, their debut album. The album, now a global phenomenon, was performed extensively during this never-ending tour series. “Replaying the tracks, we marvel at each discovery and our musical ability,” they shared with Inrocks in February 2024, just months before their performance at the Olympic closing ceremony.

Beach House – La Clairière, Sunday, June 8

For over two decades, Beach House has been delivering their ethereal, delicate, and captivating dream pop. Comprising Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally, the Franco-American duo is gearing up for their return to the Parisian audience, three years after their last album release. Titled Once Twice Melody, produced entirely by the duo themselves. “We almost vanished from the world. Without a third party, we had to be stronger, more efficient,” Victoria explained to Inrocks in 2022. “Alex and I have created this galaxy we live in, as nothing else could satisfy us.” And they are welcoming us with open arms.

Clara Luciani – La Prairie, Sunday, June 8

As a leading figure in French pop, she has nothing left to prove, yet continues to exceed expectations. Since going solo in 2017 after starting her career with La Femme, Clara Luciani has released three albums, won awards at the Victoires de la Musique, and made a lasting impression with her hit La Grenade. You can also hear her captivating voice in the film Joli Joli by Diastème. Sometimes upbeat, sometimes heart-wrenching, one thing is certain—her performance will leave you speechless.

The Dare – La Canopée, Sunday, June 8

Initially known as Turtlenecked, The Dare began crafting tracks during the Covid pandemic for fun, sharing them on social networks where they quickly became favorites among the eccentric party crowd. Now sporting black Ray-Ban glasses, a suit and tie, and tousled hair, the face of the new indie sleaze is set to turn La Canopée upside down with hits like Girls and Perfume, from his debut album What’s Wrong With New York?

LCD Soundsystem – La Prairie, Sunday, June 8

Last year, LCD Soundsystem electrified Rock en Seine with a memorable closing night performance. This year, James Murphy returns to We Love Green for a show that promises to be just as unforgettable. The New Yorker, credited with reviving dance-punk, recently released a new single in November, titled X-Ray Eyes, heralding a forthcoming album yet to be announced. In the meantime, LCD Soundsystem invites you to a dance-filled and intoxicating set on June 8.
