Chappell Roan revient enfin avec “The Subway”, une ballade glamour et chaotique à souhait

The “Midwest Princess” has finally released a much-anticipated track, “The Subway,” marking her third single since her debut album. This melancholic ballad is set against the backdrop of the New York City subway.

Mind the gap as you step off the train. Chappell Roan is about to turn the subway car into a dance floor with her new single, The Subway, her third release following her album The Rise and Fall of a Midwestern Princess, succeeding the tracks Good Luck Babe and The Giver. The Subway was produced by Daniel Nigro. Chappell Roan eagerly awaits the day when her ex will just be another “girl among many in the subway.”

The track was first revealed over a year ago at the Governor’s Ball where she was dressed as the Statue of Liberty, and has since been performed at a multitude of festivals she attended. At the Bonnaroo festival, she shared more about the release: “I don’t know when or if it will be released, but I find it fun to sing. For me, it’s like the cousin of Casual.”

This long-awaited release by her fans is now available for endless enjoyment, and it comes with her first music video since Hot To Go, set to release later in the day. Her French fans will have the opportunity to hear it live during her exclusive show at Rock en Seine on August 20th.
