The upcoming final season of Worst Cooks in America, which was filmed with chef Anne Burrell before her passing, is set to begin airing in July on the Food Network.
The new series, Worst Cooks in America: Talented and Terrible, is scheduled to debut on Monday, July 28, at 9/8c, as confirmed by the network on Monday. This season, Burrell, along with co-host Gabe Bertaccini, will mentor a batch of cooking novices who excel in their professional careers as performers but struggle significantly in the culinary arts.
Furthermore, Food Network plans to honor Burrell with a special tribute on Wednesday, June 25, starting at 10 pm. The network will broadcast a series of encore episodes that showcase her impressive skills and accomplishments as a chef, competitor, and educator.

Burrell passed away on June 17 at her residence in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was 55 years old, and her cause of death has not been disclosed. “Anne was a cherished wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend—her presence brightened every space she entered,” her family expressed in a statement. “Anne’s brilliance reached beyond her immediate circle, impacting millions globally. Her spirit and profound love continue to live on, even in her absence.”
Following the announcement of Burrell’s death, many of her colleagues and friends from Food Network and other areas, including Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, Robert Irvine, Aarón Sanchez, and Michael Voltaggio, took to social media to share their memories and condolences.
“It’s hard to grasp — such a dynamic, bold, and passionate individual taken from us too soon,” Ray shared, reflecting on their time co-hosting Worst Cooks in America for four seasons. “Anne was an extraordinary person who, despite her culinary stature, never made me feel out of place. She welcomed me as part of the team. Hosting Worst Cooks together was filled with unforgettable moments and laughter.”
