Well I will break the silence by saying that my street ( S. Candler) at Bucher and north of there on the hill was an inclined ice rink! There was a Marta bus stuck on the utility pole and numerous cars careening out of control. Very scary, especially when one car came sliding south without the benefit of being able to stop. We called 911 and within minutes the Decatur Police came and blocked off the road, pushed cars up the hill and on their way and got the sand truck to help free the Marta bus. I commend the Decatur Police for doing an awesome job!!
