Injured Dog Missing in Avondale Estates
Decatur Metro | July 28, 2012Jess sends along this message from her neighbor Shelley…
“URGENT HELP NEEDED. My foster dog was hit by a car Friday morning at 6:45 on E. College Ave near the American Legion in Avondale Estates. He chased the car that hit him, and ran towards Clarendon Ave. He is LOST and injured. Please be on the look out for him, he may be hiding and in pain. He is very friendly. Name is Rocky. He is chipped and my number is on his tag, 770-313-9716.”

Possible sighting today 29 Clarendon at 11:30 am, tan dog seen running and crying. He was running towards the clocktower @ Avondale Rd/Clarendon Intersection. He should be very hungry, has not eaten since Thurs pm. I am very worried about him, please help find him.
Just drove around area for an hour with no luck. Pretty sure people thought we were casing houses.
We’re hoping for some good DM karma!!
Thank you, many people are doing the same thing. Every neighbor I have talked to are keeping an eye out for my sweet foster, Rocky.
Shelly, the link below is a site that I’ve shared often with people who have lost cats, but there are good tips for finding dogs, too. I hope that Rocky turns up soon.

We made a few passes through the neighborhood looking for him too. No luck. I hope he turns up soon.
Rocky found his way home this morning!!! He had some minor injuries, but the vet said he should be fine. He looked skinny and disheveled!! Seems he has been out wondering the whole time, his collars and tag were still on him. Thank you for your concern!!!!!!
