    Beer Fest Pics!

    Decatur Metro | October 17, 2011

Now that I’ve recovered a bit from the weekend festivities, here’s a collection of Decatur Beer Fest photos.  A few are mine, one is J_T’s, but most were sent in by the great Mr. Chris Billingsley.  Thanks guys!

Must’ve been just before they kicked him out. I didn’t see him get kicked out, but I’m assuming he did…

I can’t beleive you missed the awesome female duo with the giant mustaches and refective sunglasses! It was a great time, only another 363 days or so till the next!

It’s longer than you think. 2012 is a leap year.

        “Donna baffuta, sempre piaciuta.”

How can I translate this one…

“A woman with a mustache is always popular.”

        wle.

Scored tickets on Thursday at the DEF Low Country Boil Silent Auction! Had to find a friend to keep a child for a few hours, but totally worth it! We had not attended in several years. Wow, it is even better. Guess we have been in the dark, but I didn’t know about the pretzel necklaces. What a great idea. I think they should be at every outdoor event that sells beer. Braves games, Book Festival, Falcons games (scratch that they play inside – yuck). I’m amazed they don’t sell them at grocery stores for football games.

If you think that pretzel necklaces are so great, you apparently have not tried the bacon belts!

The folks who sell the shirts need to get their act together. This is the 2nd year in a row they’ve run out. I had friends visiting from out of town who missed out. I can go to their office and pick one up but who wants to do that?!
