I like these new Fiats. My first car was a Fiat 128 sedan I got when I was 16 yrs. old and living in Ohio. Although it broke down a lot and was rusting out after a few years, I still enjoyed driving it and have generally warm memories or it to this day.
Our family had two 1100 models back in the ’60s. Good cars. 2nd one came from Troncalli Motors, which started in what is now the Taco Mac parking lot. I remember when they first offered Datsuns along with Fiats and, I think, Volvos. People laughed at the thought that the Japanese would ever overtake European brands, much less American ones.

I totally forgot about that acronym and yes, it would apply to the one I owned unfortunately -
These new Fiat’s are instant classics like the early Cinquecento.
