AsianCajuns Create Dorothy Draper-Style Bird House for Solarium Patio Party

Cath and Lar of AsianCajuns fame created this glammed up birdhouse for the Solarium Patio Party this weekend and described the over-the-top inspiration on their website.  Check it – and bid on it! – at the Solarium Patio Party this Sunday.

    Our auction this year is completely live and will have rain barels and a mailbox to bid on, along with other birdhouses by local artists like Erin Smith and Decatur’s own Cheryl Burnette!

    We also will have food donated by Avante Catering, Badda Bing, Beyond Details, Endive, Low Country Barbeque, Masterpiece Events, Sun in My Belly, and UJoint/Steinbeck’s.

    Raffle includes certificates from LIttle Shop of Stories, soon to open Oakhurst Market, Taj Ma Hound and others.

    Kids under 12 are free and we will have food and cool treats for them. Hope to see you all on Sunday at the Solarium.

    Thanks for posting this :) Lar did all the wonderful painting – just I spray painted the primer.
