Went to the Garden Plant Sale for the very first time and would not have know about this hidden treasure had I not stubled upon this blog. I purchased Succulents, Tomato, cucumber and green pepper plants. I just wanted to purchased everyhing but came back to reality. This is a great place doing something great in the community. Whenever I get my blog up and running, I will definitely write about this experience and push folks to this blog.

We had great luck with the stuff we got here last year and so went again, this time with my folks in tow, who also found a bunch of stuff.

We got San Marzano tomatoes, okra, two kinds of basil, jalapenos, bell peppers, cilantro, tarragon, julep mint (optimized for alcoholic consumption?), three kinds of wild lettuces, and a few other odds and ends. It’s all in the ground now!

It’s just a great, great event and one we really look forward to.
