What we do know is there are no tire marks in the roadway so it appears both from this and from comments made by another driver that was following her that she did not slow for the speed hump and after going over it, lost control and only the full size tree stopped her vehicle.

She wanted that promised ‘flying car’ so badly, and she just wasn’t willing to wait for the technology to catch up.
In truth, there are way too many pass-through commuters ‘flying’ up and down 2nd Avenue already.
