How in the world has the development department not crawled up Vision Properties’ behinds about this plywood shanty? Are they too busy enforcing code on treehouses?
It has been nearly 18 months since the Trackside Tavern fire. Ridiculous.
5th Earl is still being mourned in our home as well. Our hope is that the forthcoming Cakes & Ale bakery (construction appeared to begin in earnest over this past weekend!) will fill that gourmet sandwich hole. Duck’s is another good option.
Here’s to more ‘walkable’ Decatur. Also, r.i.p. Trackside.

They’re too busy trying to annex Sam’s Crossing area so they can beautify it.
