Another weekend, another wicked Oakhurst festival!

The 12th Annual Oakhurst Arts & Music Festival is Saturday, October 10 from 10 am until 7 pm at the center of the Oakhurst community in Harmony Park. Events and features include:
• The 5K Arts Run/Walk
• 50 local artists
• Eight live musical performances
• Community area, featuring Decatur-based nonprofit groups
• Free activity area for children
• Good ol’ fashioned parade
• Food and beverages at Oakhurst’s many restaurants
This event is presented by the Decatur Arts Alliance in association with the South Decatur Community Development Corporation.

Come out to the festival – it’s a lot of fun! I’m the first one to perform on stage at 10 am, for 30 minutes. I’ve got a CD that I’m selling for $5 and I’m going to donate a portion to the Decatur Education Foundation.
I’ll also be performing next weekend at The Seen Gallery for an art exhibit opening on Friday 10/16 at 7 pm,, and then the next night at Java Monkey from 8-10:30 pm.
