Your DeKalb Farmer's Market Recalls Pistachios
Decatur Metro | April 8, 2009Creative Loafing reports that the farmer’s market has issued a voluntary recall of “ROASTED SALTED PISTACHIO WHOLE KERNELS”, connected to the whole pistachio salmonella scare.
So, this begs the question…does potential salmonella in my food justify a refund? Or are all sales of potentially salmonella-laced pistachios still final?
Thanks to Andisheh for the link tip-off!

I wasn’t expecting to laugh out loud at a post about a pistachio recall.
No way on the refund.
Policy is clearly stated. Death is no excuse.
You can receive a refund, but you most produce a corpse for verification. And you must check the body bag with customer service.
The pistachio purchase will be refunded only if your nuts have an unidentifiable chemical smell.
EXCELLENT QUESTION!
DM – You know I love ya, man, but I can’t stand idly by while an instance of BTQ Abuse is perpetrated. Get help here: http://begthequestion.info/
LOL
Ah yes, thanks Paula. My dad pointed this out to me a few month back when I was committing flagrant BTQ abuse. Apparently its yet to sink in.
But shame is a great motivator for me, so perhaps there’s hope yet.
