Local DeKalb Election Results
Decatur Metro | November 5, 2008I assume no one needs my help to find DeKalb County election results, but just in case you haven’t had a chance to look yet, here’s a link.
Among the highlights…
- The DeKalb County Commission referendum, which lets the commission not the CEO make the agenda, passed easily.
- It looks like all of the state House incumbents in DeKalb will win reelection
- Elaine Boyer held onto her county commission seat
- Tom Stubbs, who seemed to have a lot of Decatur sign support, got crushed by Linda Warner Hunter 71% to 29%.
- Georgia Constitutional Amendment 1 (Forest Preservation) looks like it’ll pass easily. Right now Amendment 2 (Community Redevelopment) is close to passing with 97% of precincts reporting. Amendment 3 (Infrastructure development) looks like it won’t.
