Decatur Raffling Off Free Beer/Wine Fest Tickets REALLY Early Tomorrow Morning

    Decatur Metro | June 28, 2012 | 4:09 pm

    From Decatur’s Katie Abel…

Newsflash: We are raffling off (2) Decatur Craft Beer Festival Tickets and (2) Decatur Wine Festival tickets at 4:45am tomorrow morning on the Square. Come out, find the City staff, and ask for your raffle ticket. We are doing the drawing at 4:45am and you could be the very first ticket holder to those events. Stick around as 11 Alive shoots their morning program and show all of Atlanta why Decatur is Greater!

Uh…. no. I can drink beer and wine without getting up at 4:45 A.M.

That makes me lazy and cynical, and quite possibly old….doesn’t it? 😉

Maybe I can just stay up all night and then swing by.

45 minutes after last call at Trackside. Just enough time to walk down to the square.

OK, I’m actually up at the appointed time. Can I enter online?

True story: I actually woke up about 4:00 for some reason. As I lay in bed looking at the time on the time on the clock, I remembered the gathering on the Square and the 4:45 raffle. I didn’t bother to wake Mrs J_T because I didn’t want to get hit but I said to the dogs “Who wants to go for a walk?!?” I swear all three of them kind of lifted their heads, grunted and sighed as they went back to sleep. If it’s too early for the dogs, it’s too early for me!

Wow, Junderscore– I would’ve bet money you’d be one of the first in line to get those tix! You’re not all of a sudden maturing or anything like that, are ya? 😛

Nah, I’m being forced to go to an out-of-town wedding the weekend of the Beer Festival so I couldn’t use them anyway :-(
