New Boutique Moving Into Old Pambili Space in Artisan Building

    Decatur Metro | April 12, 2011

Saw this while out this morning.

A new shop called “Spotlight Boutique” looks to be moving into the old Pambili space in the Artisan Building at 201 West Ponce de Leon Ave.   There’s not much info yet online beyond a sparse Facebook page, but just thought I’d pass along word!

Jimmy John’s To Open in Old Tastings Space at 330 West Ponce

    Decatur Metro | August 13, 2010

Oakhurst Realty Partners tips us off via Twitter that a Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches will be moving into the old Tastings space in the 330 West Ponce de Leon condo building.

Jimmy John’s is a nationwide sandwich shop franchise out of Champaign, Illinois, established in 1983 in Charleston, Illinois.  There look to be about a dozen in the Atlanta metro area, with the current closest one to Decatur on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta.

    Here’s the menu!

    Feather Baby Opens Today

    Decatur Metro | April 1, 2010

    From Feather Baby’s Sude Dellinger…

My husband and I just moved our 4 year old triplets here a few weeks ago, and we absolutely love it!! We’re former New Yorkers, and we feel like there’s no better place in the world to raise smart, cool kids.

At Feather Baby, yes we’ve got some special hand-smocked pieces, but mostly it’s items within $20-$45 price range. There’s loads of ideas for gifts for expecting and new moms, so we’d love for everyone to come take a look. We’re giving away balloons and 15% off everything Feather Baby through the weekend, and we’d be grateful if you’d tell everyone to come say hello! We’re right across from the Grange/Marley.

Sammiches n’ Stuff Going In Below Eddie’s Attic

    Decatur Metro | November 25, 2009

    sammiches

I had heard about this new sandwich (and more) shop going in below Eddie’s Attic about a week ago, but was looking for a little more info before posting.

This morning Billy sends in a pic of a sign in the window and that’s good enough for me!  After a closer inspection I can tell you that tomatoes, pickles, olives and lettuce will all make appearances on the menu. :-)

But seriously, I’ve heard that this is a sandwich, salad and smoothie sorta joint.  And heaven knows I’m always up for a sandwich…I mean “sammwich”.  Also, it’s great to see the old Little Shop/Jake’s space back in play, since it’s the only first floor retail on that side of the Square.
