The Decatur Beer Festival’s annual logo selection is always a buzzworthy event.  It looks like the this year’s logo contest winner was posted online sometime in the last week.  Check it out above or on the Beer Fest website.

Have you ever hoped to have your artwork seen by thousands of people? The Decatur Craft Beer Festival is accepting entries for the 2011 festival logo. The selected logo will be used on marketing materials, the souvenir t-shirt, the tasting glass and the festival poster!

My wife wonders whether this little mustachioed, bowler hat-wearing dude, who staggered into a page 3 article about grant proposals in the July Focus, is the winning logo for this year’s beer festival.

If so, I’m making sure to adopt his slightly European look for the festival: mustache, bowler hat and heels.  Then instead of sipping the beer, I’m going to toss it into my mouth just like little Jacques up there.

Oh man I’m going to be classy.
