Logo sucks. I’m boycotting. Anyone want the four tickets I already bought?

Don’t think it’s a contest anymore (not since the divisive “Viking Logo of 2012” winner…)

Definitely not as good as last year. It is so generic I almost missed it when scrolling to see where the logo image was.

I dunno. I kind of like it.

Used to be an awesome event now it’s become a lushfest filled to the brim with rude people… I stopped volunteering when we were no longer even given a t-shirt for being there!… Wouldn’t want one this year anyhow the logo reminds me of a Bavarian beer pretzel.. I might be allergic …Not sure if it’s supposed to be Gluten Free?!

Wait…so, the $40 entrance fee being waived (as it is for volunteers) wasn’t enough? SMH.

“it’s become a lushfest filled to the brim with rude people”

This is why I stopped volunteering. I know this event brings lot of cash to various local organizations, but I did not feel right being a part of it anymore. Being verbally harrassed by a drunk guy is not what I signed up for.

Yours and Sharkey’s experiences have been very different than mine.

            If I could remember.

Agree. Have volunteered there for the last 4 years, and the attendees I’ve come in contact with have been well behaved, especially considering the amount of beer many have consumed. It’s crowded — probably too crowded for me to pay $40 to attend — but the volunteer gig is still a good one.
