From Decatur’s Linda Harris…

The City of Decatur Zoning Board of Appeals meeting scheduled for Monday, January 10, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. has been canceled. It will be rescheduled and we will send out a notice once we have received final confirmation of the date.

Use this post to report area event cancellations due to snow. Here’s what I’ve found thus far…

• Dan Magee has already reported in comments here that today’s 11am Valentine’s Luncheon for 1st to 3rd graders at the Rec Center has been canceled, while the 6:30p Valentine’s Day dance for 4th and 5th graders is still on as scheduled.
• According to a note on the Oakhurst Message Board, construction of a new greenhouse has been pushed back to tomorrow.
• Also of note, the AJC reports that MARTA buses are not running today.

Anyone know what happened to the “Recycle Your Life” event at the Baptist Church?  A reader asked about it in an email last night, but I don’t have contact info.

UPDATE: Karass reports in a comment that the “Recycle Your Life” event has been canceled and may be rescheduled in June.
