Fox Bros. BBQ Closed, Damaged By Fallen Tree

    Decatur Metro | August 3, 2012

The AJC reports that Fox Bros. BBQ’s main dining room, two vans and a car were damaged when a 70″ diameter tree fell on the DeKalb Avenue property yesterday.  Luckily no one was hurt in the incident, but the restaurant will remain closed at least through today.

On Fox Bros. Facebook page, they thanked Community Q for helping fulfill catering orders yesterday.

See what happens when you use that seasoned oak to make smoked BBQ, Treebeard takes revenge!

“They come with fire, they come with axes… gnawing, biting, breaking, hacking, burning. Destroyers and usurpers, curse them!”

      LOL

When life hands you lemons (or a lemon tree)…

There’s a nice big spot in Decatur that’s already been Fox-a-fied and ready for a menu redo. Keep the brunch menu and convert to the full Fox Bros. menu the rest of the time. Mmmmmm. I can dream, can’t I?

Hopefully this wont further delay the opening of the Rib Joint.
