    Terrific Thursdays is Tonight!!

    Decatur Metro | November 17, 2011

I failed to mention this in its inaugural week last Thursday, so I’m making up for it now!

Terrific Thursdays take over Decatur commercial parcels every Thursday until Christmas.  Free food, comped alcohol and discounts galore.  Really, if you’re still going to the mall, you might have an unhealthy addiction to recirculated air.

Full list of restaurant and retail discounts HERE.

Just want to say that we had an awesome time last night strolling around in the chilly weather while patronizing as many of our local establishments as possible. With twins on the way, we were very excited to check out Feather Baby, where we purchased two adorable outfits (and made plans to buy many more). Then it was on to Decatur CD to cross several albums off my wish list, Heliotrope for some early Christmas shopping and a birthday gift, and window shopping at Little Shop of Stories and Salon Red Kids. Capped the evening with a cozy, delicious meal and drinks (for me) at Mac Magee’s (our first time there).

We live in a truly magical place.

Twins? SLEEP NOW! You want to have at least 10,000 to 20,000 excess hours of sleep stored up before the birth. Twice as many for the mom. Feather Baby is wonderful so enjoy beautiful outfits while you can. But don’t forget to go by Toys R’ Us or consignment sales for burp clothes and tacky plastic devices that move rhyhmically and induce sleep in small humans.
