I searched for 3720 Leroy Scott Drive, Decatur, GA 30030 on Google Maps and came up with nada.

It’s the new name for Kensington Road apparently.

Who is/was Leroy Scott? BTW, I am against naming places for live celebrities/heroes/politicians etc, even though every other street in Los Angeles is named that way. The only way to ensure that they don’t do something totally embarrassing and unworthy later, like embezzle funds or stalk their ex-spouse, is if they’ve already died and their exemplary record is still intact. Plus it’s bad luck. Everyone who has a street named after them while alive eventually goes on to die.

The County recently opened what I thought was new driveway entrance to the public works yard there off Kensington. This could be the name of that new roadway. It is a few hundred feet east of Camp Rd.

Otherwise, if one simply passes down Camp Rd. between Kensington and Memorial, there will probably be signs, etc.

You’re right. It’s the new entrance to the Sanitation Dept. off Kensington Rd. past Camp Rd.

Does anyone know if City of Decatur residents will be allowed to drop off items?

It just says DeKalb County residents, not unincorporated Dekalb County residents, so one must assume that all residents in this county are allowed to drop off items, no?

Just to clarify before cleaning out my garage I called KDB and person who answered said Dekalb residents who live in the city limits can bring items to the event.

            Groovy. Thanks for verifying!

I’ve never had a more pleasant experience getting rid of hazardous waste! Very efficient set up and all of the volunteers were super nice. BTW, I didn’t have to show ID, they just asked if I was a resident of Dekalb County.
