Yea! My first “Eye on the Street” publish! Thanks, DM! That photo didn’t turn out too bad considering it was taken with an old Palm Centro. I hope someone found their keys.
You mean those keys weren’t posed? I assumed that the photographer involved set his/her keys down while getting their camera out and then decided they’d be a good element of the photo. Someone actually left their keys on the walk button? I didn’t think there was anyone in Decatur who would do anything as spacey as that besides me!
That sounds like the most likely scenario. I KNEW only I could do anything like balance keys on a walk button and then walk off without them. I used to attach a tracking device to my key ring so I could locate where I last misplaced them but I kept misplacing the other end of the tracking device.
In my defense, I was only born with so much RAM in my brain and I save it for deep thoughts and brilliant observations. AND I am always careful not to misplace the children although I have considered implantable tracking devices just in case.
Right on, Paula. I went to push the cross walk button and there they were. I also assumed someone found them on the ground and placed them on the cross walk control. Although, in retrospect, I am not sure the owner would think to look there…
dang, that’s where I left those.

I assumed that someone else found them on the ground, and put them there for higher visibility in case the owner came a-lookin’.

Perhaps those are the keys to the city?
