Russ – I will sell you ours…$100 each…we have 2 (kidding….I am keeping my tickets).

I have another plan — between now and festival time I’m going to start a microbrewery. I’ll hopefully win some awards and get invited to the festival as a vendor.

I didn’t get tickets either. But I figure if I can scalp 4 for $70 each, I can sell two of them for $140 each and get in free!

I can’t believe it sold out so fast.
Is it wrong to scalp an extra ticket, if the profits are used to pay for the babysitter which you needed to get in order to go to the festival? We’ve got an extra and I don’t want to ruin my beer karma, but I think this is an OK rationalization.

Has anyone tried to purchase tix this afternoon and been denied?

Yep, I tried to buy them online and it said “no dice”. OK, it actually said the tickets could not be found. Either way, I’m now just hoping that some folks’ babysitters fall through and they are nice enough to dispose of their tickets here without unreasonable mark-up!

If I get the swine flu, I will sell my tickets at face value.

Not to cross threads unnecessarily, but what if you get hit in a crosswalk by an SUV turning left onto Church Street? Can I have your tickets at face value then, too?

That would be fine…but chances are it would be me doing the hitting if the pedestrain was crossing when he/she was not supposed to.

Russ and J_T, just got this Tweet from TicketsAlternative…

I’ll let you know what I hear, but you might also want to follow @TixAlt_GA on Twitter.
