Valentine’s Day is Saturday. Here are your sultry options Decatur…

- Tastings is offering a 6 course “VALENTINE’S DAY PRIX FIXE” for $55 a person (extra $20 for wine pairings) RSVPs were due by yesterday, but hey you could still try to get in!
- Ponce/Fairview shops are having a sidewalk sale from 11a-4p
- Mingei is selling Sweetie’s Sugar Scrub, which was recently featured in Daily Candy.
- The Decatur Minute has a bunch of local Valentine’s Day bargins and ideas.

They have the most delicious cupcakes for Valentine’s that consist of a chocolate cupcake, covered in pink butter cream icing, topped by a heart-shaped brownie with a teeny pink candy heart in the middle. This isn’t overkill, people, this is heaven!
I’m extra excited because usually their hours coincide with office hrs (9-5, Mon.-Fri).

I received this info from Parker’s on Ponce: “We are offering our normal menu with about five added selections for V-day. We will have a couple extra wine and sparkling choices, and will present all guests with a long stem rose.”
