Get 'Em While They Last: Oakhurst Tervis Tumblers
Decatur Metro | July 9, 2008 | 8:12 amAre you a diehard Oakhurst resident? Do you like to support good causes and find yourself drinking out of glasses?
Then Taste might have just the thing for you!
Due to the popularity of the City of Decatur Tervis Tumblers that supported the city’s Youth Fund for Sports, Taste has brought back the glass, this time with an Oakhurst logo. Steve at Taste reports that 20% of the proceeds will go back to ONA to provide property tax relief for the elderly.
Tumblers range between $11 and $15 depending on size.
Here’s an example of what a Tervis Tumbler looks like, albeit with a different logo. UPDATE: Steve at Taste has provided the logo that will appear on the glass. See below.
These tumblers are great! The are lightweight, hold up fabulously in the dishwasher, keep cold drinks cold/hot drinks hot, and even have lids with drinking holes so you can take them “to go.” The best part for me: no condensation so no rings on the furniture.
I agree…the best drinkware on the planet. ALso, they have a lifetime warranty. So, if it gets discolored, cracked, not looking brand new? Ship it back and they will replace with the seal inside, for free! No questions asked.
I like the tumbler. Would like it better if it provided tax relief for us middle class citizens!
…oops..hit enter too soon before reviewing my post…that should say MIDDLE AGE citizens!
