Irvine Beach stabbing: Teenager arrested after boy, 16, 'stabbed' during mass brawl at sunset party

A young male teenager tragically lost his life after being stabbed during a large-scale fight at a beach gathering in Scotland.

Law enforcement was summoned to Irvine Beach in Ayrshire at approximately 6:45 pm the previous day due to a reported altercation.


The young victim, hailing from East Kilbride, was discovered with severe injuries and was immediately rushed to a medical facility, where he succumbed to his injuries earlier this morning.

Police Scotland has now confirmed the identity of the deceased as Kayden Moy, also from East Kilbride.

“We believe several individuals were recording the incident and might possess video evidence of the events that transpired,” a police spokesperson stated.

“We strongly encourage anyone who captured footage to review their videos and reach out to the police if they believe their recordings could aid our investigation.”

A special website has been established by detectives where the public can directly provide information to the investigation team. These tips can also be submitted anonymously.

Police Scotland is seeking tips from the public

Superintendent Jim McMillan commented: “We realize this tragic event is alarming for the community, but rest assured, we are fully committed to apprehending those responsible.”

“As we proceed with our investigation, there will be an increase in police patrols in the vicinity. We encourage anyone with concerns to speak to these officers.”
