The iconic Olympic cauldron will once again grace the skies of Paris. It is set to be reignited on June 21st during a large concert featuring performances by Camille, Christine and the Queens, and Youssef Swatt’s, as announced by the Ministry of Culture on Wednesday, June 11.
After captivating audiences during the Paris Olympic Games, the cauldron is making a comeback for the Fête de la Musique and will be lit every evening until September 14th. The Fête de la Musique’s main concert will be split into parts; initially, a live concert from 9 PM to 11 PM, followed by an electronic music session until 12:30 AM. The lineup includes Jeanne Added, Malik Djoudi, Solann, Youssef Swatt’s, cellist Sol Gabetta, and Ukrainian DJ Miss Monique.

Also featured are Camille, who recently won an Oscar with Clément Ducol for the soundtrack of Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Perez, and Christine and the Queens, also known as Redcar, who paid tribute to Édith Piaf at last year’s Paralympic Games opening ceremony.
“A Selection of the Finest Songs from the Past 40 Years”
In addition to their own songs, the artists will perform a selection of musical gems from the last four decades, led by a peace-promoting artistic direction from the trio of Thierry Reboul, Victor Le Masne, and Romain Pissenem, who were previously involved in the Olympic ceremonies and France Music Week.
The concert, which is free of charge, will accommodate up to 35,000 people. Registration is required through the platform France-Music-Week.com.
