Brief Case, Laptop Stolen from Car in Artisan Lot, Reward offered

    Darenw | September 22, 2012 | 5:39 pm

Scott Drake called me to ask for help. His briefcase was stolen out of the back of his car in a smash and grab in the Artisan lot. Sometime between 12:30 and 2pm this afternoon. It included a Dell Laptop, all his kids photos, business materials–all gone along with the back up drive. He’s offering a $500 reward for recovery. Contact at sdrake@soldesignco.com or 404-932-7652.

Sounds like the whole parking lot was also stolen while the laptop was stolen.

So the thief entered the Artisan parking garage at 2:35 pm from the rear entrance near the Marriott Courtyard, he was seen in and around that property earlier in the day around 12 noon. Within 4 minutes he searched cars in the parking garage and check the front desk to see if anyone was watching. He left the parking garage at 2:39 pm with my briefcase. Below is a link to my Facebook page that has a few images. If anyone has any info call Detective Hall at the DPD 404-373-6551.
