A very sad sight to see.
Hopefully with the expansion this will be the last year we have to see these

Sad? This picture is part of the amazing Oakhurst community success story. I think it’s great.

Need to put some lattice fence panels along the bottom and some landscaping (trees) to pretty up this a bit…

They paved sidewalks around them yesterday. It doesn’t seem temporary to me!

The PAVED sidewalks around them? I don’t remember them doing that with Clairemont’s trailers and THAT yard is a mud field when it rains. I think there were boardwalks.

That’s just so they’ll meet ADA. They’re only scheduled to be there for 2012/13 until the new wing is completed next summer.

That sucks, how dare they try to make room for all our children.

I spent my 6th grade year in one of these temporary trailer arrangements and… it’s true, I didn’t get into Harvard. I don’t want to point any fingers, but…

Eh. My son was in one for 1st grade and will be one for 3rd grade starting tomorrow. They work OK. Having them parked there year after year is suboptimal, but they do the job short-term. Westchester will reopen as a school, they’ll go away, and nobody will be seriously harmed.
