Thanks for posting the news about Colbeh — I’m excited to try this out. Persian food is my favorite and I’m so glad to not have to make a drive up to Sandy Springs anymore to get it. I’ve got Sufi’s on Peachtree in Midtown and now Colbeh too. Khoresht is the best. thing. ever.
RE: the Brookhaven city vote — am I imagining this or did I read somewhere that the city would have to be called Ashwood instead of Brookwood? Dim memory.
Pretty sure the Ashwood name got shot down in the legislature.
It was Ashford, not Ashwood. Some argued that Ashford (think Ashford-Dunwoody Rd) is the historic name for the area, but in the end they lost and the name of the place will be Brookwood.
Cool — thanks for the clarification. I’m very interested to see what happens with this cityhood vote!
I would like to see a map outlining the areas that may be annexed. I know it is early in the discussion but the mayor and others in Decatur must know what areas they are seeking.

Was I supposed to read that comment in Fezzik’s voice, like when he was pretending to be the Dread Pirate Roberts? Because I did.
