Speaking as a master procrastinator, I heartily recommend the link on the subject. It shed an entirely new light on my Netflix queue….. and was right on the money!
my pleasure.
happers, all!
ellis doesn’t want to lose his job/power?!?! I’m shocked sir, shocked.
Alright all, how about a Christmas market on the Marta Plaza next year?
Crafters, local shops, The King of Nogs (seasonally adjusted from Pops), maybe an oompa band.
This. is. so. doable.
King of Nogs, yes! And if they want to paint a mural on the Square, maybe Decatur will even let them keep it up and not paint over it in the name of code enforcement like City of Atlanta did. Though I wouldn’t bet any money on that…
I’m in if you are.
and perhaps a Queen of Gliuwien (sp!)
completely doable. I will say well constructed city furnished booths are one of the key differentiators between the German and US versions of these kinds of markets where our vendors supply their own booths–with varying aesthetics and levels of quality that can detract from the more unified feel the German markets accomplish. It”s a meaningful detail.
