genuinely curious… why would we want to defeat the parking variance which is requesting less parking spaces? why would we want more parking spaces/more asphalt?
Because the fewer parking spaces means a bigger store. This store also has underground parking which is more expensive than paved parking. Go look at the one in Chamblee to get an idea of the size of store they want t build. It’s really too big for the available space hence the parking variance.
But remember I think Atlantic Station sucks too.
