The link to the Next Stop isn’t working. I am dissappointed; I was planning a witty snark:
” Must be that motorcycle cop who targets the cyclists around town!”

I LOVE the photo of Officer Bob in this month’s Decatur Focus! Super duper cool! :0)

    Dekalb link is broken too.

Of course Dekalb county did not listen to parents. They operate in a bubble, and do whatever the heck they want, which in the recent past was how they hid and fostered corruption. Nice to see nothing has changed. They continue to operate in their bubble, all while saying they should be trusted with hundreds of millions of more dollars to waste.

Bring in the casinos, for the billion dollars a year or so in revenue they would generate. At least when that money is wasted, it’s from people’s leisure spending, not property and sales tax.

I don’t think parents would be thrilled about casinos on school grounds either.

The majority of comments on FFAF suggest otherwise ;)

Way to get parent participation! Book Fair and Slot Machines this week! And maybe the playgrounds and kickballs would show up faster!

I think the wine festival is going to be the best ever. Almost 500 wines, fifteen area restaurants, terrific raffle prizes. Music from The Shadow Boxers and Gwen Hughes Band. On a beautiful fall day on the Square. Proceeds to Decatur Arts Alliance and the Decatur Youth Fund. What’s not to like?

Anyone seen Tix for sale on Craig’s list — then we would have really arrived.
