The 1983 fight over extending the Stone Mountain Freeway was an add-on to the Carter Freeway fight. When the proposals were defeated, the end of Hwy 78 was left “as is” which accounts for the wicked curve at the end and the totally fouled up lane changes just past North DeKalb Mall. Only road I know that goes from 3 lanes to 1 only to merge into freeway speed traffic.
Does anyone know if the hazardous waste recycling includes televisions? Does anyone know where we can recycle our TV?
Best Buy.
If the program is still the same as it was last year, you give them your old TV and $10, then they turn around and give you a $10 Best Buy gift card.
Decatur should have a recycling event sometime next month.
Try these nice people
