    Just got back from this and gotta say, a job well done. It’s amazing what can be accomplished in a year. Gym/auditorium is a nice touch, great media center, interesting sound-enclosed cafeteria (kinda like the smoking rooms at Hartsfield) and lots of good, upper story views for more effective daydreaming.

    Place was packed. Saw lots of neighbors and former teachers, plus plenty of semi-apprehensive, semi-spastic rising fourth and fifth graders.

    My one quibble: I hope they’ve already made plans for where to put the additional bike racks. There may currently be a lot by suburban school standards but by Glenwood/Decatur standards I predict a serious shortage.

      Agree is beautiful school. The grounds are beautiful too. The staff and students seem psyched. The one thing that is lacking IMHO is age appropriate playground equipment.
