Decatur Student to Appear on Jeopardy

Forget that weird supercomputer thing on Jeopardy right now.  It’s all about Decatur!  Macarolina points out this blurb in the AJC…

Two metro Atlanta teens will compete on national television for $75,000 on the “Jeopardy!” Teen Tournament.

The first local contestant, Brandon Welch, 17, of Grayson will appear on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on the nationally syndicated game show hosted by Alex Trebek

A Decatur teen, Kailyn LaPorte, 15, will appear on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

    What fun! She looks like she’ll have fun whether she wins or loses. What school does she go to? I’m pretty sure she’s not a Decatur High student.

    She goes to Chamblee in the magnet program. Lives in a Decatur zip but not inside the city limits.

    Hey, She’s in the lead! She may not be in the City limits, but shows she’s ‘with it’ to claim Decatur, city limit or not.
