Super Bowl Video Needed for U.S. Soldier in Iraq

I’ve got a weird request and don’t know where else to turn. My brother is currently doing his 3rd tour in Iraq. I’d offered to send over a dvd of the Superbowl for him and his unit, but he assured me they’d be able to watch it. Of course, they didn’t get to. I’ve asked all of my friends and co-workers if anyone taped the game, but no one’s got a copy. Do you have any ideas where I might be able to find one? Is there a way to put a request out to the neighbors via your site?
I’m so grateful for any assistance you can provide. These kids have so few creature comforts on these one-year tours, working 7 days a week, seeing horrible stuff, it would just be great to be able to give them a few hours away from it all.
If anyone still has the game on their DVR and can burn a DVD of it to send overseas, please shoot me an email and I can get you in touch with Mollie.

there are quite a few torrents of the game out there, for instance- http://www.demonoid.me/files/details/2542920/717031/
Does iTunes have it? That would be the legal way to get a copy. The NFL isn’t a big fan of copyright infringement.
It’s a slippery slope. Selling a copyrighted work is one thing, helping some stationed abroad…i personally don’t see anything wrong with it.
Hi neighbors! Mollie here… Thank you for your help with this!
Joe…That’s fantastic! I’m not familiar with torrents…it looks like they will just need to download the link? No other technical instructions required?
Winona Mom…It’s been really difficult to find it anywhere, which surprised me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to violate anyone’s copyright or prevent anyone along the chain from earning a paycheck. But when your kid brother’s on his third tour of a warzone, there’s very little you won’t do to boost his morale and try to help keep him safe :))
DM….You have just absolutely warmed my heart by lending a hand. I’m really so grateful for your assistance with this!
Molly- You need to download uTorrent to successfully download the torrent. It’s free.
Different people use different ones, but this is the one I use because I have found it to be the easiest.

I use uTorrent as well. you can then burn the files to a dvd, and he can watch it on his computer, or some dvd players will play .avi files, or there are programs that will take the .avi files and put them in dvd format for you to burn to a dvd to watch on any dvd player.
The original site you posted is not the site I use because it’s sometimes it’s up and sometimes down for nonregistered users which is supremely frustrating, I finally just stopped checking. Last night I looked and registrations were closed. But this morning I popped on, and they were open! So glad you posted that!
