Decatur Book Festival Offers $100 Reward for Lost Flip Camera
Decatur Metro | September 10, 2010 | 9:39 am
Decatur Book Festival Executive Director Daren Wang writes in to tell us that the festival is making an all out effort to locate the lost Flip video camera of a festival-goer, which contains the only footage of the day the camera-owner’s child was born.
The festival is offering up an $100 reward for the return of the camera.

An anonymous donor has just kicked in another $50.
Spread the word if you can.
Thanks
Thats incredible Daren ~ this is Lisa … the owner !! dont know what to say… I am “verklempt”
We found our Flip camera! Thank GOD!
It was wedged between the two back seats of our car under Grant’s car seat. Lisa and I had scoured that car three times. A great lesson in Faith!
Immense gratitude to Daren Wang of the Decatur Book Festival who went out of his way to help. Daren, you are a class act!
Also, much love to the anonymous person who added $50 to the reward. We love you
YAY!!! That’s wonderful news!!!
(And a good lesson for all of us! I saved everything on my camera after reading of your predicament!)
and a note to self ( and yo too Deanne)
to put name and number On cameras etc….. had it been elsewhere, an honest person trying to do the right thing would have had NO idea how to get it back in our hands!! Lesson learned! Thank you again Daren… and Mr./Mrs Anonymous!
Great news! Also, an object lesson in one of the downsides of miniaturization.
